Ryan Tipping Rowing the Atlantic

Show your support for Firefighter Ryan Tipping who has just landed back in the UK after rowing the Atlantic!

Ryan, along with a small team of rowers began their journey in Gran Canaria on the 22nd of December and after 59 days and 3000 miles they arrived in Barbados on Sunday the 20th of February.

Ryan has said, "It definitely feels great being back on dry land. I have craved Krispy Kreme doughnuts for the whole trip and just bought 36 of them."

We think you've earned them! We would like to congratulate Ryan, along with the other rowers for taking on this amazing challenge! Everyone at CDDFRS is SO proud!

The aim of this challenge was to raise money for several worthwhile charities including, but not limited to, The Fire Fighters Charity, RMA Royal Marines Charity, Not Forgotten Association, Veterans United Against Suicide and Go Again Mental Health Consultancy.

If anyone would like to sponsor Ryan and the team it's not too late!  https://gofund.me/4ef84b93
