GET OUT, STAY OUT, CALL 999

Fire Escape Plan

  1. Make an escape plan so everyone in the home knows what to if the smoke alarm goes off, either during the day or at night.
  2. If you live with others, talk about what route you could take out of the house.
  3. Make sure you have a few options and practice them.
  4. Decide on a meeting point when everyone is out of the house, make sure children know not to hide.
