The #COVID-19 Vaccination Bus will be stopping at: 
HORDEN
Aldi Car Park
Peterlee, SR8 5BA
Wednesday 9 June, 12pm–7pm

FIRST vaccinations ONLY are available on the bus for: 

  • People who live or work in County Durham who are within the eligible age cohort at the time of the clinic
  • Carers, health & social care frontline staff 
  • People over the age of 16 years who are clinically vulnerable, or have a learning disability, who have not yet had their first jab.

NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED

Friday 11 June, 12pm–7pm

Two men have been rescued from a disused mine in Middleton-In-Teesdale April 2021
Two men have been rescued from a disused mine in Middleton-In-Teesdale after getting into difficulty earlier this afternoon. A total of six fire crews from Middleton-In Teesdale, Durham, Newton Aycliffe, Seaham, Consett and the Special Rescue Unit from Bishop Auckland responded to reports of two men trapped in the disused High Skears mine just before 1pm today (Friday, April, 30).
