The Authority operates in accordance with a Code of Corporate Governance that sets out the approach it takes to ensuring it operates in accordance with appropriate standards and frameworks. The Authority’s Code of Corporate Governance is available from the links at the bottom of this page.
 

The Annual Governance Statement sets out the key governance issues that the Authority has identified during the financial year. The Authority works towards mitigating these risks as part of its approach to ensuring an effective governance framework is in place. Prior to 2010/11, the Annual Governance Statement was incorporated into the Annual statement of accounts.  In 2010/11 the Authority agreed to publish the Annual Governance Statement as a separate document.
