- we will attend 70% of all dwelling fires within 8 minutes and 90% within 11 minutes
- we will attend 75% of all road traffic accidents within 11 minutes and 90% within 15 minutes
- emergency calls will be answered within 1.46 seconds

SERVICE AWARDED CHARTERMARK FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service has been succesful in retaining the Charter Mark Standard for its work and policies in relation to customer care.

The assessment highlighted four areas where the Service had demonstrated Good Practice, these included providing wide-ranging information for customers about all aspects of the organisation and services, making the most of technology to improve services or value for money and involvement with the community.
